I see this often enough that it's annoying, but I don't have any clear steps to reproduce it.

The symptoms are that every once in a while, I will start up the camera app, and once the viewfinder starts, go to press either the Shutter/Record or the Mode Switch button in the camera; except instead of the camera recognizing the button, the tap _seems_ to "pass through" to the homescreen.

That is--with the homescreen icons in their default positions--when I press the Shutter/Record button, sometimes the Message app starts, or if I press the Mode Switch button, the Browser launches.

Expected results: naturally, the Camera app should handle any interactions with its UI.
