This failure showed up a lot in a patch I landed on the b2g18 tree (I re-triggered mochitest-5 and it failed 3 out of 7 runs):

Yet now it's not showing up at all in 4 runs in the next patch that landed:

So I'm calling it random.  It certainly doesn't appear to have anything to do with the JAR channel fixes I was landing.

I don't know if this might be related to bug 628901, which is the only suggestion tinderbox had.  It doesn't look like it (this is a crash, that was a hang), so opening new bug.

May well be B2G/e10s only.

This is virtually perma-orange on b2g18. Retriggers are going orange on previous runs, so emulator/gaia/mozharness changes caused it?

This is becoming close to a perma-orange.  Note that it seems to predate my patch too. 

Possibly solved by bug 819248?  It seems possibly this bug is a dupe of it and/or bug 821420.

There haven't been any changes to gaia or the emulator in the relevant window.  This test only got turned on with https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Mozilla-B2g18&rev=bad2a6a97372, so my guess is it's just a very frequent orange.  I'll disable it.

Andrew, this test seems to be failing only on b1g18 and not m-c, etc.  May be worth some investigation by dev.

Resolving WFM keyword:intermittent-failure bugs last modified >3 months ago, whose whiteboard contains none of:
{random,disabled,marked,fuzzy,todo,fails,failing,annotated,time-bomb,leave open}

There will inevitably be some false positives; for that (and the bugspam) I apologise. Filter on orangewfm.
