User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/534.57.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.7 Safari/534.57.2

Steps to reproduce:

Run SlingPlayer Plug-in for Streaming Video from a Slingbox on FF 18 b4 on Mac 10.7 and 10.8.2. Plug-in is using core animation to render video in out of process mode.
The graphics card on 18.8.2 are:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Intel HD Graphics 4000

Actual results:

Video is not played, only audio is heard. Video is displayed on Mac OSX 10.6.8 using same version of FF (FF 18 b4).

Expected results:

Browser should have played the video.
> Run SlingPlayer Plug-in for Streaming Video from a Slingbox on FF 18 b4 on
> Mac 10.7 and 10.8.2

Is there any publicly accessible way to do this?

Is the SlingPlayer Plug-in freely available, and are there public URLs that use it (with which this bug can be reproduced)?

I too suspect this is a dup of bug 821304. Here's a tryserver build that includes a fix for that bug. Please try it and let us know your results.

Does it have anything to do with number of Graphics card. Last I had seen this was on a machine with single Graphics card.

Since Firefox allows offline rendering if your machine has single graphics card it could lead to this problem if there is some error in the logic.

Please share the hardware details of the machine .
Yes, sling player plugin was playing video in previous versions of firefox. From firefox 18 beta it stopped playing video.

I tried both the builds of firefox 19 shared by you (rev e7497bc33b3c & rev eaccb5bb50c0) and in both the builds it is not playing video, behaving same as firefox 18 beta.

The reported problem is fixed in Firefox-20 build shared by Steven Michaud. Plug-in is playing video in Mac OS 10.7 & 10.8.2.

Thank you for your quick reply and builds shared with us.

The firefox 20 build shared by you solves the problem. Sling player plugin is playing video in Mac OS 10.7 & 10.8.2.

Some more queries w.r.t firefox 18:
Since the problem is fixed in firefox 20 build, please share your plan for firefox 18 release w.r.t including this fix so that we can test and verify our plugin on it.

Thank you for sharing the firefox 20 build. Please let me know if you find any problem using sling player details shared by me.

Quoting Alex Keybl from bug 821304:

... So you should be able to verify with the final beta (FF 18, beta 6).

As per the release date mentioned by you, I have tested SlingPlayer plugin on FF 18 beta 5 and Its not working.
Still the same problem exists.

Please clarify whether you are going release FF 18 beta 6, or FF 18 beta 5 is the final version?
If yes, then please share the FF 18 beta 6 so that I can test SlingPlayer plugin and verify the problem is solved or not.
Per the release calendar it's going to build today and should be available some time tomorrow (keep in mind that there may be timezone differences).
