I can't reproduce this. Are you sure you aren't running into bug 812534 about the hit targets for the fields being too small?

Strike that, I am able to reproduce this. The cursor is in the field and blinking, but there is no keyboard. If I switch to the subject, it works again. I tried a few builds to try and match what the nightly e-mail indicated.

This should be the same issue as Bug 823832 and a regression caused by Bug 766066. Right now if you invoke element.focus(), the keyboard will not show up.

Yes, because of fanciness with our 'bubbles' in the address UI, we invoke .focus() on the inputs, and as per my comment on bug 822832, the focus event no longer triggers showing the keyboard.

Looks like this is working correctly in the 12/23 build. WFM?

This bug is fixed. But, another old bug comes back again. That switching between To, CC, and BCC would caused keyboard to go down and come back.
