Details

(Whiteboard: [testday-20121221])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:20.0) Gecko/20121221 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20121221030826

Steps to reproduce:

I can't able to view old content in " http://news.cnet.com "
i scrolled down and clicked the " See more content "
nothing happen.
but its working in chrome.
Thanks for filing. I can reproduce on Arch Linux 64-bit with Firefox 17.0.1. I don't see anything in error console when clicking the "See more content" button.

Can you please try to find a regression range by testing progressively older Firefox releases (start with Fx 16 and work your way back)? Thank you.

Wow, thanks Aleksej. Given that, this is not a Firefox bug but a bug in CNet's website. Moving this to Tech Evangelism.

I’ve tried replacing “Linux x86_64” with “Windows” and removing “X11” in the User agent string, but that didn’t help (it was on Nightly though).

Same happens with:
* Konqueror 4.8.4 (4.8.4)
* Chromium 22.0.1229.94 Debian wheezy/sid (161065)
Alex, do you know if we have any outreach channels with CNet?
Summary: Cnet website Not Loading → "Show More Content" button on CNet News does not work in Firefox
I can also reproduce this on Windows 7.
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: x86 → All
IE 10, Opera 12, and Chrome 23 all exhibit the same issue. We can keep this bug open if we want to follow up with CNet but I don't see that this is something we can solve. All evidence points to this being CNet's problem to solve.

After update of Firefox Nightly.
its working...
Resolution: INVALID → WORKSFORME
It’s not because of the Nightly update: it works with 2012-12-17-03-08-50, too, now.
