Comment on attachment 695174 [details] Logcat Thank you for the log. Unfortunately, it does not have any information from the e-mail app inside. Either the log wrapped by the time you ran the logcat or dump() is not enabled, because there should be some GeckoDump messages in there. This may be a problem with how the builds are generated unless this is your personal build. Please see the bit on enabling dump in here if it's your own build: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Gaia/Email/RequiredBugInfo

Nope, that's not a personal build.

What type of build is it / where did it come from? Also, how long ago was the phone last flashed, resetting its state? There was a brief window of time where the dump() default setting was 'off', and the only way to fix that (other than adb clobbering stuff) was to reflash the phone so that the settings database got reset.

I received the phone on Thursday, and then an update Friday. I have not had the opportunity to flash it yet.

So it's a default unagi phone and you told it to use french at startup? I assume it's getting over-the-air updates?
