the features we would like are the tags, Some sort of spam protection, like stopforumspam
Flags: needinfo?(satdav.mozilla)
As far as I can see, there's no plan of action set here for sumodev, because nothing has been decided in the sumo thread.
Component: Questions → Forum
Swarnava,
As I understand it, the Forum component is for the discussion forums at <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums> and the Questions component is for the support forum at <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions>. Am I wrong? If not, is there a reason you moved this to the forums component?

As forum is for both if you ask me as applies to both
actually i think forum is for both support and contributor forum
This isn't really a valid bug. This bug points to an open-ended conversation with a bunch of possibilities. Bugs really need to be actionable in some way and thus need to be well-defined. Otherwise this becomes a second discussion forum and we can't really do anything useful with that other than close the bug out.

Please open a new bug with specifics about the problem you're trying to solve and your suggested solutions.

Also, Questions is the component for the support forum and Forums is the component for the contributor forum. That's a legacy of how things are named in the codebase.
