On sumotools1.webapp.scl3.mozilla.com, mysql is taking a fair chunk of disk space in /var/lib/mysql, particularly this 20GB file: -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 20G Dec 23 08:15 /var/lib/mysql/ibdata1 Is there anything we can do to reduce that usage? The box is alerting on low disk. I'm pursuing other options but everything helps. FYI, bug 813969 looks related but not the same.
It's not that 20G that's the issue: [root@sumotools1 data]# df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 396G 361G 14G 97% / /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 99M 25M 69M 27% /boot tmpfs 2.0G 0 2.0G 0% /dev/shm It's the 300G in the backup drop: [root@sumotools1 data]# du -sh * | grep G 302G backup-drop 2.9G www Note that bug 791313 is dealing with moving to a new system, which is already set up and waiting for devs to move. Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 396G 94G 282G 25% /
FWIW, the old sumotools will go away at the end of the month, so hopefully this can be closed once and for all then.
sumotools1.webapp.scl3.mozilla.com has been shut down, so this is moot now.
