User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 Build ID: 20121130221520 Steps to reproduce: I tried to setup an account in Thunderbird on a server with a certificate signed by a CA not included in Thunderbird by default. The wizard keeps "trying to connect" and nevers shows up the window to accept the cetificate despite it behing sign b y an unknown CA. IMAP server log is as follows: Dec 25 22:55:41 hebus dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 1 secs): user=<>, rip=192.168.173.254, lip=192.168.173.2, TLS: SSL_read() failed: error:14094418:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:tlsv1 alert unknown ca: SSL alert number 48, session=<pIX3X7TRRADAqK3+> Actual results: I was unable to create the account Expected results: Thunderbird should show me a window indicating that the certificate is signed by an unknown CA and allow me to add an exception for that server.
