User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0
Build ID: 20121128204232
Steps to reproduce:
download mozilla firefox 17.1 on my desktop.
Actual results:
I manually launch it and i get a site advisory from Mcafee. I then defaulted (thru internet options) for my home page. When I close and reopen firefox, it brings me back to the same page Mcafee advised me of. Won't stay on my homepage and I keep getting a site advisory. I did not download anything else.
Expected results:
After initial launch after downloading Mozilla firefox, it should open to a firefox welcome page and it didn't. I changed the page it opens to (and advised warning) to my homepage and upon relaunching firefox it should have opened to my homepage but still opens up to this red flag warning. Have to delete this browser. Been having problems over a week installing and uninstalling. My computer is fine.

Hello.
It's a support request, you should use the official support board which is more appropriate than the devtool Bugzilla:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions
In addition, it's a tool of McAfee which hijacks your homepage, just set or remove McAfee to stop that.
