From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9+) Gecko/20010523 BuildID: 2001052304 Javascript menu found on that site doesn't load properly. Follow "Steps to Reproduce" to get to the page, since I couldn't provide a direct link, since the URLs were changing all the time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.city.fi 2. Click on "MobileCity" in the menu at the top of the page. 3. Click on Logopalvelut/Logot £ Iconit. 4. Click on "Katso kaikki logot" link on the page. Actual Results: The menu loads up partially, only showing 1 logo image. Expected Results: Should have loaded properly, showing all 15 logo images. Clicking on the "Katso kaikki logot" link on the page opens up a menu that has Javascript. This menu shows an images of the actual logos, their names, author's names and the logo codes, however, only 1 logo image gets loaded in the menu. MSIE and Opera load this menu fine with all 15 logo images coming up. Also after clicking on "Seuraava" (Next), the next menu loads up with exactly the same problem, only 1 logo image instead of 15 get loaded.
Kinda WFM 2001052320 win98 Sometimes all images are loaded, sometimes not. Here's the URL of the opened window : http://www.city.fi/ikonit/draw/IconBrowser?categoryid=new I doubt it's a javascript problems though.
Using debug builds 2001-05-23 on WinNT, Linux. Confirming bug on WinNT. On Linux, you get all the images, but it takes a while - The problem can be reduced to this URL: http://www.city.fi/ikonit/draw/IconBrowser?categoryid=new Load this in NN4.7, and it looks right: 15 gifs on the left side. Load it in Mozilla, and you get unpredictable results. Very often, only 10 or so gifs load. If you do View | Page Info | Images, you see all 15 gifs are listed, and if you click on any one of them, you can see it in the lower pane. But the "missing" ones all have a "height" and "width" of 0. On reload, you never know which of the gifs is going to show up. Note: the URIs for the gifs are not static. They look like this: http://www.city.fi/ikonit/draw/GIFServlet?request=gif&iconid=30887 Not JS Engine. Reassigning to Layout for further triage -

I tried the url: http://www.city.fi/ikonit/draw/IconBrowser?categoryid=new with build 2001052904 of netscape6 and it loads the pictures almost everytime. (I also tried it with our viewer and it worked allways.) Seems to me that there are network reasons for this behaviour (response times and so on). I run the tests 05-30-01 / 12:30pm and it worked 100%. However 1 hour before I had some cases (1%) when the images were not here and I saw a wait cursor. I don't think this is a major bug and we should not spend too much time with it. However hints are always wellcome. I will leave this bug on my schedule.

URL changed. Sure this shouldn't be kicked over to Networking?
->Networking. I can't find the menu anymore, however; is this still a visible problem?

reporter: can you reproduce this problem using a more recent version of mozilla?
This has been WFM since over a year (comment 5), also the site has redesigned, url gives a 404 error. No answer from Reporter since January. Resolving as WFM. Please reopen if you can reproduce.
