When the keyboard comes up (I'm using bugzilla.mozilla.org for testing) on my S3, for a split second I see a flash of something weird. Either white content on the surfaceview or content that's scaled incorrectly. It makes the process, which would otherwise be pretty smooth, not smooth at all. We should try to retain whatever content we have on screen at the same scale and position if we can, and only update it once we've got some new real data.
