User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0
Build ID: 20121129151900

Steps to reproduce:

I'm using T-Bird 17 under Ubuntu Linux. I've set T-bird to save a copy of all outgoing emails to the Sent folder in Local folders.

Actual results:

All emails WITHOUT attachments are properly saved. However, any email WITH an attachment is not saved in the sent folder as expected.

Out of curiosity I backed up my profile and created a fresh profile to test. The same problem occurs.

Expected results:

Thunderbird should save all outgoing emails to the Sent folder as requested. If your job requires retention of all emails, this is extremely problematic because any outgoing email with an attachment appears to have never happened upon later review.
cathect, do you still see this when using a newer version?
