Steps to reproduce:

i searched a image in Google.com and hold the image to save..
it saved when i try to open, its opening in adobe reader..
its saved in pdf format instead of image format..
its happening only in thumbnail images...
if i open the image in full screen its saving in image format..

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 824737. The files are downloaded with an *.html extension, and on my stock android, they open with the HTMLViewer. Perhaps the association is made with Adobe Reader when installed.
