Steps to reproduce:

The registration page does not state what the password requirements are. So when I registered using a password like 'hello', I get an error saying that the password must be 8 characters. Then I try 'helloworld' and get an error saying that the password must have at least 1 number. 

It would be more user friendly if the requirements were stated beforehand.

I created a pull request ( https://github.com/mozilla/kitsune/pull/1025 ) that adds the text:

"Password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 1 english character and 1 number."

But feel free to comment if you think another wording or style will work better.

Brian is correct. We should add password requirements right below the password field on the registration form.

Plus, I think the wording could be tweaked a little to say:
“Password should be at least 8 characters longand contain at least 1 number.”
