Using WinNT40+SP6, Mozilla Builds 20010523&524 & Netscape 6.0
On an AMD Athlon 850 MHz system w/384 MB PC133 memory
Reproduceable every time
Quicktime 5.0.1

Using the above URL as an example, but this has been true with every EMBEDDED
Quicktime movie I play back from within Mozilla. About half-way through the
movie, it stalls, playback becomes choppy, slow, and eventually almost dies
because CPU usage on the mozilla.exe process goes to 100%. At that point my
entire system is stalling because the mozilla.exe process has tied it up. I
eventually press the stop button on the Quicktime movie, and after a short while
(about 8 seconds) it stops playing the movie and my system somewhat comes back
to normal. If I play it again after stopping it, it goes right back to 100% CPU
utilization and I have to stop it again. If I close the window and reload the
movie, it resets this behavior - movie plays fine until 1/2 way through and
exhibits the same problem.

It may be a memory issue - as soon as something like 10 MB of the movie clip
have played, it stalls. I'm noticing smaller clips are not problematic.

Quicktime playback otherwise works smooth on my system, and it works when
Mozilla launches the Quicktime player in a separate window (which you can do
from the link above - select the "Full Movie" version, which forces Quicktime to
launch its own window to play the movie).
Works for me,On WindowsNT 4.0 SP6 with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US;
rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010706 with QuickTime Plug-in 5.0.1
,the trailer is played and downloaded completly, poster check out with the url:
about:plugins,If you got all this plugins loaded or the files in their dirs:

File name: D:\PATH\Mozilla\bin\plugins\npqtplugin4.dll
File name: D:\PATH\Mozilla\bin\plugins\npqtplugin3.dll
File name: D:\PATH\Mozilla\bin\plugins\npqtplugin2.dll
File name: D:\PATH\Mozilla\bin\plugins\npqtplugin.dll

And on the other side if your Internet connection is working properly since the
first time I tried to reproduce the bug i had a faulty hub, that prevented me to
downloading it complety.
Poster, if the problem persist after checkin these, feel free to reopen the bug.

On Build Mozilla 0.9.1 (Mozilla/5.0; NT4SP6; en-US; Gecko/20010607), I confirmed
that the URL above works, as does every other Quicktime-containing URL I have
tried. This particular problem appears to have worked itself out without our
interference, so I confirm this as a closed issue. Note that, to fix this bug,
all I did was upgrade to the newest release of the browser and copy my plugins
directory from the old browser directory to the new one. Nothing else changed,
i.e. my plugins were installed and in the proper location, my net connection is
not problematic, etc.
