When you restart the device, such as after it ran out-of-battery, a text "Firefox OS" appear with a light effect which goes *extremely slowly* from the left to the middle of the screen.

As this animation is extremely slow, the feeling I got from it is that "Firefox OS" is not capable of doing a simple thing such as playing a simple gif as fast as possible.

In comparison, the galaxy nexus show an animation with an X and one branch of the X is highlighted and it switch quickly between branches.

My point of view:
  I think would be an awesome start-up screen would be a transition between the nigthly logo to the release firefox logos to show the progress, with the light coming up as the sun (foxy) appears.  And having a rotating earth speedy enough to avoid thinking that the phone is slow.

As we no longer have the moving light behind the text, I think we can mark this bug as invalid now.
