Steps to reproduce:

Thunderbird never offers updates for nightly builds of Lightning (latest-comm-aurora). Other add-on updates are detected normally. I'm using the latest-comm-aurora / Earlybird build of Thunderbird. This problem has been ongoing since Lightning 2.0pre(?) and Earlybird 18.x.


Actual results:

I have to download all new nightly builds manually and install manually.


Expected results:

Thunderbird should offer to update to the current nightly build, if it's more recent.
