I've looked through the bug reports with "button" in the subject line (all 429
of them) and didn't see anything that seemed to cover my issue, so I'm opening
this one. I'm 99% sure this is a duplicate, but I can't find it.
Basically I haven't been able to get any button to work on Mozilla for a while
now.
Some of the tasks I can't currently do in Mozilla: query Bugzilla
(http://bugzilla.mozilla.org), login to my Excite account
(http://www.excite.com), search in Google (www.google.com). For all sites I
can <TAB> over and select the button itself, and some sites (Google) I can
press <ENTER> to simulate the button being pressed, but the others sit there
and don't do anything.
Any ideas?

Forget it - false alarm.
The preference for using 'XBL-based Form Controls' was turned on. Everytime I
install a new version of Mozilla I keep my bookmarks.html and prefs.js file. I
must have turned it on a while ago and forgot to turn it off.
Sorry about that.
