I'm on a 15" retina MBP, 10.8.2 and this page is choppy when scrolling. The same page scrolls correctly in all other browsers I've tested (Opera, Chrome, Safari).
We are experiencing the same thing with 844947 and we have some more details on the issue.
I get better performance when I remove the |background-attachment: fixed| on the large background. Could we test putting large fixed backgrounds in a layer?
