I made some modifications to the racks in mvt1, scl1, and scl3. I removed: 650 Castro KVM:kvm.build.mtv1 SCL1 KVM:kvm1.infra.scl1 SCL3 KVM:kvm.private.releng.scl3 I added: 650 Castro Ganeti:KVM-kvm.build.mtv1.mozilla.com SCL1 Ganeti:KVM-kvm.infra.scl1.mozilla.com SCL3 Ganeti:KVM-kvm.private.releng.scl3.mozilla.com If you look at: https://inventory.mozilla.org/en-US/systems/racks/ The old racks still show up and the new ones do not. If you filter by location, the old racks do not show up and the new ones do (correct behavior). I thought it might be cached data or something, so I did a shift-reload, and then when that didn't fix it, restarted firefox all together.
This is almost certainly due to the form itself caching. It will need an override in __init__ to populate the form with the new choices.
I just pushed the fix for this. Our github origin for this is a bit flaky. Will figure out how to deploy.
uberj, Can you help me to deploy?

This has been in the back of my mind for a while now because when I tried to fix this I kept seeing inconsistent behavior that I couldn't explain. When I was trouble shooting things, it appeared the code I was pushing wasn't fixing anything, but I was checking to make sure the new code worked _right_ after I pushed the code. I now think one of issue was due to a delay starting from when code is pushed to the web servers and when that code *actually* is the running code on the web servers. I've observed this delay being up to 3 minutes on production Inventory. I can't explain why it's happening (probably an apche thing). I'm going to close this bug because code is in place that should have fixed this issue. Reopen if the unwanted behavior comes back.
