Firefox for Android 21.0a1 20130108, Android 4.1.2 (stock), Google Nexus S

After adding the urlbar widget to the home screen, holding and releasing it will show a border and two circles on the left and right which can be dragged to reduce the widgets size I guess, but the width remains fixed. This has been like this since the widget landed.

The widget resizing works fine for tablets. There is a minimum size below which we cannot resize. That's why it feels like it cannot be resized on Nexus S.

Some Launchers (Nova Launcher for example) will allow you to override that if you want, and resize the widgets to whatever size you want.

True. We can do that. But we wanted to have a minimum size below which our widgets didnt look good.

To be clear, I'm not saying we should change it. Just providing a workaround. If a user doesn't like our choice, they can use something like Nova Launcher which allows them to override it.
