Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-2 i686; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010425
BuildID:

I had a previous install of mozilla in /usr/lib on my RH7 box. I tried last
night's (May 25) Linux i686 installer and decided to install the nightly in
/usr/lib as well. The installer correctly detected the previous mozilla install,
but instead of removing the mozilla components, it removed all of /usr/lib
instead (i.e. about 1000so's)

This forced me to wipe my box and upgrade to RH7.1. Needless to say, I was not
pleased. The moral of the story: don't install in /usr/lib. Dumb mistake on my
part? Yes. Bug in the intaller? You betcha.

Reproducible: Didn't try, nor do I intend to
over to samir.
