I am pretty sure this worked a month or so ago, with IE and the like it still
works...

steps to reproduce:
1. go to www.single.de
2. click on "login" somewhere in the upper left area of that page
3. a http auth pops up, enter user/pass -> mozillatest/e4b383fd -> confirm
4. you have been taken to the next page and *not* been logged in, you can
confirm this by reading "bitte log' dich ein" <=> "please log in" in the upper
right corner below "your messenger"
5. any subsequent tries to login will not yield in a http auth window to pop up,
thus auth seem to have happend but data maybe screwed?

this must have been fixed meanwhile, it now works for me too using b2001053020
but the status should be:
fixed verified...
because it was a real bug, not? worksforme means that nobody was able to
reproduce it, but that was not the case...
maybe... i've used WORKSFORME in this sense before. if anything this bug is
really a dupe of some other bug that was fixed. if i knew what bug it was then
i would have rather just duped it.
verified then (although it's not good for my karma :)
