This sounds like a web content bug and not anything to do with a browser. The same thing happens in Chrome and on my desktop browser (with mobile UA). The store expects you to tap the x button on the div overlay.

Is this bug asking for the hardware android back button to close the screenshots? It might be doable but I am not clear on this.

sounds to me like the screenshots show up overtop of other content. On second read, this doesn't sound like a marketplace bug since we don't do anything with about:apps. If this is still a bug, please provide more steps to reproduce it.

A screenshot issue was fixed with this commit: https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/commit/312d089 in case the bug was referring to that specific circumstance.
