Steps to reproduce:

I started thunderbird after applying Ubuntu updates. An error message appeared stating that a specific add-on caused a crash. I removed the add-on from .thunderbird/<acc>/extensions. The same happened, listing another add-on. After removing about 5 add-ons, I deleted all extensions. Now thunderbird started, but when I open Tools / Extensions, thunderbird crashed again.


Actual results:

Thunderbid crashed. A dialog stating that bug could be committed and Thunderbird restarted appeared, but this caused exactly the same dialog to appear and there is no way to determine whether or not the bug was filed.


Expected results:

Thunderbid should have deactivated the add-on that caused the problem and continued on to load the next add-on. (dialog displayed as it is currently) Also, when the user chooses to file the bug, there should have been a message stating that bug was successfully uploaded.
