After discussing it with the UX guys, we have been suggested to unify all edit mode transitions to 0.3s instead of 0.4s as it is mainly done now.

Closing the bug as INVALID since this bug is not up to date. A check of the current transitions being used in the Contacts app should be carried out by UX including the needed bugs as it was done with the call screen transitions as a consequence of which the meta bug 834324 was created. Thanks!
