Details

(Keywords: hang)

1. Display bookmark sidebar.
2. Click on a link that will (eventually) cause a modal dialog (e.g.,
prompting for cookie acceptance) to be displayed.
3. *Before* the modal dialog appears, start (but don't finish) a drag'n'drop
action on a bookmark (left click & drag), don't release).

When the window for the modal dialog appears, it is not painted. The
drag'n'drop action cannot be canceled, neither by releasing the mouse button
nor by pressing the ESC key. Even worse, because mozilla has grabbed the X
window focus, I cannot switch to another application window.

The only way I can get out of this situation is either killing mozilla (from
another terminal) or killing the entire X session.
