Sample of Camino Hang.txt

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.2.29pre) Gecko/20130108 Camino/2.1.3pre (Firefox/13.0)
Build ID: 20130108001511

Steps to reproduce:

In Camino 2.1.2 and 2.1.3pre (1.9.2.29pre 20130108001511) accessing these pages:

http://ca.finance.yahoo.com/

http://biz.yahoo.com/cnw/

gets me a spinning beach ball and Camino hangs for at least 1 minute - before I force quit it. This happens on multiple Macs (both PowerPC and x86) and under multiple OSX (10.5.8 to 10.8.2) versions that I tested too.

Actual results:

Spinning beach ball and Camino hangs until I force quit it.

Expected results:

It should have loaded the page.

If I turn JavaScript off in the preferences, the page loads normally. If I access the same page using Safari, it loads just fine. So this is a Javascript issue of some kind.

The attached file is the Activity Monitor Sample taken on the PowerPC Mac when this happened. The x86 Macs show a similar pattern - so it's a code bug.
The issue is that Gecko1.9.2 is EOL if it comes to Gecko developers.
This will be therefore not be fixed in Gecko
