This follows up on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=826297#c17 In development builds, marionnette is enabled, cause the offline events to not be sent out. This cause a few other issues for development and testing. It would be nice to have a developer settings in Gaia to disable it. Only development.
Given that bug 840612 fixes the underlying cause - making the offline status functional with marionnette - this request has become obsolete.
