829756 - Move dev newsletter sign-up to its own page

On https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/apps there is a link "Sign up for the newsletter", which opens a widget that lets the user submit their email address for the "Apps Developer Newsletter". That newsletter has been merged with the old about:hacks newsletter to be a more general developer newsletter. It's no longer specific just to open web apps.

The newsletter sign-up needs to be liberated from the Apps landing page, so that it can be linked to from other locations as deemed appropriate. (We also want to redirect the /apps landing page to the /docs/Apps landing page, which in the wiki.)

Sorry for any confusion Janet, but this remains an apps focused newsletter, and should be accessible to folks landing on the Apps page. 

The newsletter is called Firefox Apps & Hacks and its target audience is Apps developers and devs interested in Firefox OS.

Havi, thanks for the clarification.

We still need this moved to its own page, so that we can move the Apps page into the wiki. Right now the sign-up is in a JS widget on the Django landing page, which the wiki does not support.

I can put widget on the landing page (though someone could edit the wiki page and mess it up).  Could someone provide the page text so we can move on this?

Hi David - you could copy the widget text directly from the lower right widget box on the very bottom right corner of hacks.mozilla.org (scroll way way way down)

One more thing: the current widget does not collect country info. pls collect country info for localization - you can do this by pulling the code that the hacks.mozilla.org widget is doing... talk to sancus or see :

This is wonderful and I'm happy to see it but somehow comments #2 & 5 were lost.
