User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.11) Gecko/20121120 Firefox/10.0.11
Build ID: 20121120185134
Steps to reproduce:
I sent an email and cc'ed myself.
Actual results:
When I received my own email, I got a notification.
Expected results:
I should not get notifications of emails that I send! If people really need to know when an email they sent actually got received, perhaps a New Mail Alert customization could make this customizable?

Ilane, thanks for your RFE.
TB coding resources are very scarce, and I think it's intended to show the new mail alert for any mails your account receives, regardless of the sender, even if it's yourself. I'm using bcc to self, and I've never taken offense from the alert for my own mails, I find it helpful because that's where I can do quick check without leaving inbox if my mail is ok. I think your RFE would be better realized in an addon.
imo it's not worth spending time on this in core.
recommending wontfix - other opinions?
