User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0
Build ID: 20130104151948
Steps to reproduce:
I open the "About Firefox" window through the "Firefox" Menu on Mac Version (French Translation). Then I click on any of the link proposed (Mozilla, contribution, ...)
Actual results:
an alert window opens saying:
[Applicaton JavaScript]
uri [xpconnect wrapped nsIURI]
It is located at top left of the Firefox windows.
After clicking OK, the tab corresponding to the link opens, the alert windows disappears, but a with square stay, at top left. It does not move with the firefox windows, but stay "above" any other window (even not firefox) move on it.
This Square seems to be part of FIREFOX windows since a "Hide Firefox" command makes it desappear with firefox window.
Expected results:
No alert box, no remaining white square.

Can you please use mozregression to try to narrow down when this bug got introduced? I can't reproduce it on today's Nightly build of Firefox on OS X 10.8.

jiffax can you still reproduce this and find a regression window using
http://mozilla.github.com/mozregression/ ?
Without more info we cannot do more to help.
It seems to be related to bug 877801 . The result is the same but not the origin;
