User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Build ID: 20130104151925 Steps to reproduce: I've tried a system restore, can't do it. Error found in system restore to prior version of Firefox. How do I uninstall the latest update back to the prior version of Firefox where I had NO problems? Actual results: continuous crashing...reports submitted with no email reply
Can you provide the crash ID from about:crashes? Does it happen in Safe Mode (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode)? (In reply to Deb Bauer from comment #0) > continuous crashing...reports submitted with no email reply Mozilla send emails when there is information on how to fix the crash.

There was no information or error code on the crash, just the notification screen and then the report automatically sent to Mozilla. I have since uninstalled Firefox and changed to Chrome. I may download it again, Firefox was my browzer for years and my favorite. I'll ask what Scoobidiver was probably hoping a crash report would show. Are you using any Norton products? See: http://blog.gerv.net/2013/01/norton-making-firefox-crash/

Actually yes, I use Norton 360 and have been for years. Thanks for the article...glad it's not only me. Actually, Chrome is also acting up with pages being unresponsive. :( (In reply to Mardeg from comment #3) > I'll ask what Scoobidiver was probably hoping a crash report would show. > Are you using any Norton products? To know if a crash is already associated with a bug, type about:crashes in the location bar, click the crash ID and go to the Related Bugs section. If it exists, click the bug link to known more. If you have reliable steps to reproduce, you can add them in a comment in order to help get it fix. See also the second post in http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-18-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/886714 for how Norton will fix that.
