Attachment: example of improper rendering / artifacts

With Firefox 17, on Linux, Facebook popup messages and top notification popups result in rendering artifacts for me (kind of like bug 632308).

Additionally, the two fruit flies on this site don't render properly or consistently: http://screen-bug.googlecode.com/git/index.html (See attached.)

This script worked on pre-17 and still works on Chromium, Opera, and Firefox 17+ on Windows!

WFM on the latest Nightly, Aurora, and Beta, on Ubuntu 12.10 32bit.

The issue does reproduce as displayed in the attachment on Firefox 17.0.2 ESR.

Last good nightly: 2012-09-28 - issue reproducing on Firefox 18a1
First bad nightly: 2012-09-29 - issue not reproducing on Firefox 18a1

Matt, this isn't urgent, but if anything sticks out to you in comment 4, we'd take a low risk uplift to ESR17.
