Can you confirm that disabling McAfee resolves your crashing. I believe your bp-97d3ed1b-6308-40ba-b45a-324722130109 crash is a duplicate of bug 803460.

Also, is there a specific reason you believe this crash is security sensitive? 
(most crashes are not)

I haven't tried yet to disable McAffe. - I have informed the McAfee organisation of the problem.
i do not know enought about programs to decide if it is a security problem or not.
i don't speak english so fluently !!
i'm surprise to recieve mails asking me to provide a security Key to authentify mais incoming and outcoming

McAfee has invited me to install the Thunderbird V16 issue. The program does not respond either when you click on a message's title, or on the vertical object on rigt and left sides that help to see the elder messages, and the mails are always so slow to come up to the screen.

McAfee asked me to disable its control of attached pieces, and Thunderbird V16 works properly. I'll install soon the Thunderbird V17.0.2 issue
