User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 Build ID: 20120817040201 Steps to reproduce: Resume from sleep results in Firefox Crash. Had previously loaded ** warning is potential bad SITE.... was sent by drive by spam e-mail ** hxxp://www.zbiddy.com/away.php?time=1358376700 Remove xx to get actual link if your PC is protected. [*you have been warned*] Actual results: System fell to sleep mode with 15 tabs. System gave crash error https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-13242647-972f-4bc5-bccf-565d12130117 Expected results: Should have recovered and returned to last page viewed.
unfortunately the crash report was corrupt and doesn't tell us anything. SafeBrowsing doesn't report any found issues with zbiddy.com. Doesn't mean there wasn't anything there though, maybe it just wasn't reported. The page you linked to looked OK to me, I didn't see anything injected, but maybe the site was cleaned up or perhaps the malware is smart enough to hide (for example, only show once per timestamp?). For this kind of problem our best hope is for enough people to report these symptoms (especially via https://support.mozilla.org/ ) that we finally grasp the hidden pattern. With this one bug on its own I have no idea where to start. I apologize that I have to close it.
