Open bookmarks/recent history/remote tabs (anything in then PanelUI), tap on a title(representing a link) 

expected: opens link/loads page

actual: nothing appears to happen, but if you hit the back button instead of going back to the awesome screens, you go to the link

happens in full, snapped, filled views
Sounds like we just need to call PanelUI.hide whenever a tile/link is clicked within a panel.

The full pages for bookmarks, history, and tabs are out for v1 so this can move out too.

This is fixed by the patch in bug 839131.
