we are receiving reports that the users are not able to interact with the settings UI because the hidpi/Retina implementation possible scaling flash content incorrectly.

Test config: Mac Retina Pro + Mac 10.8.2 + Firefox 10.8

Method:
1. Install Firefox 17.0.2 , load any flash page,e.g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G2jMY3j3mM, right click to call out Settings panel, now you can click the elements on that.
2. Upgrade or reinstall Firefox 18.0, load the page, call out settings panel, it become unclickable. Besides,observe the player's definition, it's a little blurred.

Result:
Settings pannel become unclickable after upgrading firefox from 17.0.2 to 18.0.

Expected:
Settings pannel become unclickable after upgrading firefox from 17.0.2 to 18.0.

This will be fixed by my patch for bug 833936.

This bug is now fixed in current mozilla-central nightlies (starting with today's).  Please test them out!

thanks.  we've forwarded the information to our teams for verification.
Just downloaded the latest nightly and this issue is fixed for us. Is there anyway to prioritize this bug for release?

A number of companies are affected by this (Twilio, TinyChat, etc.) as well as a anybody who uses Flash for RTMP. Also, the HiDPI install base grows everyday.

It's too late to land in Firefox 19, but i nominated it for release tracking for Firefox 20 over in bug 833936.
we really should consider uplifting this as soon as possible.
