This was a regression in Firefox 11. In Firefox 10, "-moz-user-select:none" text is NOT highlighted when you drag a selection over a "none" text (thought CMD+A to select all text WOULD highlight it).
Did you know the regression window more accurately than Firefox 10-11?
Component: DOM: CSS Object Model → Selection

(It might be obvious from commit logs.)

I think this was a regression in Nightly 2011-12-21, the first 11.0a1 build. Unfortunately, nothing in the changelog jumps out at me as particularly suspicious: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/pushloghtml?fromchange=2afd7ae68e8b&tochange=4e4878620bb5

hg bisect says this selection bug is a regression from bug 619273: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/e3766ee732cc (The regression window I posted in comment 3 was incorrect.)

mats, this bug does look like the same problem as bug 739396. btw, here is the test case (originally from bug 166235) that I used to test this bug.
