Do you get the same issue in the Firefox safemode ? http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
(In reply to Matthias Versen [:Matti] from comment #3) > Do you get the same issue in the Firefox safemode ? > http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Nope. I thought some months ago with the same problem it came from an add-on : Search Status but i disabled it since. I guess i'll have to find out which add-on do this. Strange behavior anyway.
The safemode does a little bit more than disabling extensions. It also disables the hardware acceleration as example If disabling the addon doesn't help you should try to deactivate the hardware acceleration under options/advanced/general (followed by a FF restart) Please post the graphic section from about:support if that fixes the issue.
The problem is those "glitches" are random somehow. Normally when it appears it'll stay some times but here after the safe mode try, i restart FF in normal mode and the problem has gone. So from this it'll be hard to test anything. It'd be interesting to know if someone got the same problem.
Eric, are you still encountering this issue with the latest Firefox version (current Firefox 43.0.4)? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I guess i can close this bug report. Like @Matthias Versen [:Matti] said, i've also the hardware acceleration disabled since i think (or maybe i did it later on when i was trying stuff with html5 60 fps videos).
