To reproduce:
*   Open the Preferences dialog.
*   Focus a text field in a prefs panel (e.g. the home page field in the
    `Navigator' panel), or open a subsidiary dialog (e.g. select `Other ...'
    from the resolution popup menu in the `Fonts' panel).
*   Look at the selected item in the category list.

What you see:
*   The item has a solid blue background (or whatever your selection color
    happens to be).

What you should see:
*   The item has a 1px pink border (or whatever your selection color happens to
    be).

Problem occurs with:
*   build 2001052904, Mac OS 9.1, Classic theme

Problem does not occur with:
*   MS Internet Explorer 5.0 Preferences dialog
*   Mozilla 4.x folder pane or thread pane
*   MS Outlook Express 5.0 folder pane or thread pane

Bug 83257 was marked fixed on 2001-05-31. Unsurprisingly it did not fix this
bug, since this bug is about Classic and 83257 was solely to do with Modern.

Reproduced in build 2001060504, Mac OS 9.1. Reopening.

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported
by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies
there as well or resolve this bug.

I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken.
