If I access https://trychooser.pub.build.mozilla.org/ I have to confirm a security exception for the certificate. If I add the exception, I get an error stating:
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /error/noindex.html on this server."
It'd be nice if it worked with HTTPS, or at the very least, had a better error pointing to the non-SSL version.

It doesn't have an https existence. Of the *.pub.b.m.o sites, only https://secure.pub.mozilla.org does.
I don't think a minor convenience is worth the expense of an SSL cert and an extra public IP. Particularly since we have a half-dozen of these *.pub.b.m.o sites, so we're looking at a half-dozen certs and IPs, all for just a few hits a year.
I think the error message is better on the new cluster - what you're seeing now is the old system that was replaced a few quarters ago.
