http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n/mozilla-beta/lv/rev/78cf41b75a03 removed dict.lv.

Is that intentional, and if so, why?

Also, changes to searchplugins should always go through a bug first, and I didn't find one.
Yes this is intentional as the plugin does not work any more.

The fact that the bug is missing is my bad. There was a notice a while back, but as i did not see anything this time I guessed that the bug policy has been removed.

Anyway, I thinh the search plugn should be removed. If that causes problems / is undesirable I can see how to fix the plugin.
Do you know how long it was broken? And how did you find out?

I've argued for removal of a plugin if the engine changes without telling us in the chambers case in bug 827019, but got a bit of pushback.

Quick search tells me that http://dict.lv/enlv/boat works, in case we need it.
I was testing out some localizations on fresh install and noticed that dict.lv plugin was the default one after the install. Searched with it and page returned an error. So I removed it.

The absolute must is to make this plugin not the default after the install.

My other feeling about this plugin is that it might not be super relevant to the users. Is there a way to find out how many people have used it?
Restored the dict.lv search plugin and fixed its URL.
