User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/24.0.1312.52 Safari/537.17 Steps to reproduce: Open or close a few tabs in Firefox while working in an RDP session. Actual results: The tabs are animated, sliding in and out or shifting around depending on where a tab is closed. Expected results: Under a Terminal Server session (via Remote Desktop) animations often hamper the user experience since they need to be redrawn often which requires more bandwidth. Especially over slow connections this can be very annoying. Therefore everything that doesn't need to be painted should not be painted. This usually includes UI animations.

dao, would you expect this issue, and bug 747612, to be obsolete given newer tab behavior?
