This is reproducible on my Samsung Galaxy S2 but does not seem to happen on my Samsung Galaxy Tab.

I am triggering these tests by:

rm -f out && make -C objdir-droid/build/mobile/robocop && make -C objdir-droid package install && TEST_PATH=testBrowserProvider MOZ_HOST_BIN="/Users/ncalexan/Mozilla/mozilla-inbound/objdir-desktop/dist/bin/" make -C objdir-droid mochitest-robotium &> out

Might this be a regression from bug 784086?

Bugs 846364 and 847315 are likely dups of this one, for GS2 and GS3. I believe there are no such reports for tegras (Froyo), so I am wondering if this is coming into play: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/annotate/cb432984d5ce/mobile/android/base/tests/testBrowserProvider.java.in#l657
