Steps to reproduce:

Open any webpage
Edit is greyed out, but underlying menus are available such as "copy, paste, undo" depending on the browser state.



Actual results:

Edit was greyed out


Expected results:

I doubt there is any reason for Edit to be greyed Cut, copy, paste, undo redo, select all, delete.

"Select All" is probably always valid on any webpage.

Filling out the bugzilla page at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi#h=bugForm|Firefox  and being in a text box,  Paste, Undo and Select all are available, but Edit is greyed out

Please attach a screenshot.
The greyed out items depends if text is selected or not.
Undo, paste and select all doesn't depend on selected text and is therefore enabled.
It makes no sense to have "cut, copy, delete" enabled if there is no text selected

Attached is one such example.  Within the EDIT menu, Select All is available.

With EDIT on the min menu suggests that NOTHING is available under EDIT which is simply not true.  "Select ALL" is available in this case.

You want a different set of conditions, point the mouse inside a TEXT box.
