User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Build ID: 20130116073211 Steps to reproduce: Webcam working on port 80 Router forwarding from internet port 8082 to internal port 80 Try to display video in Firefox Actual results: At home its possible to watch the webcam video and the config pages with firefox. From "outside" the config-pages of the webcam are displayed, but not the video. There is only this little cam-icon. Using IE or "media player classic home cinema" i can watch the video, using port 8082. At the info page the "port"-tag (8082) is missing. Look at my attached picture, there is IE and firefox working at the same time. IE is working, firefox does not. The dialog-box in the front shows the active urls, the last one is the video-url, and the port-statement is missing. Expected results: Video should be displayed...
Did it use to work in a previous version of Firefox?

(In reply to Loic from comment #1) > Did it use to work in a previous version of Firefox? I bought this cam one year ago. Since this time it didn't work. But I tried another thing today: I configured the cam listening on port 8082 instead of port 80 and the router to forward the port 8082 to internal 8082 also. Then it works! The graphic-info-Dlg reports: http://rhoeni.no-ip.org:8082/mjpg/video.mjpg Hm, thinkin about it... Who has to compose this url? Firefox? Router (possibly not)? Firmware of the cam? If so, it would be a bug in the cam-firmware? But why does it work with IE and mpc-hc then? I could set a user for you in the cam if you want. Thank you!

It makes sense to portforward in your router the same port entered in your webcam config menu. What does the user manual say about portforwarding? If you think there is a bug in Firefox, send me by email (check my nickname) a guest account (don't forget to set the config to reproduce the bug) and I'll check if there is a possible regression. But for me, it seems to be fine.
Hello Andreas, is this still a valid problem on your site? or can we close this old report? thank you for your help.
