Transition from Gallery to Camera should be just a change of level in screens but not 2 different apps apart.

Lack of Transitions affect the experience. Required for TEF build.
Transitions a key feature to give the user a clue of the architecture of the OS and how to navigate it.

Hi David,
It could be great if you could work on this bug. UX people are very concerned about all these transitions issues and they are trying to push them for V1.1 release.

Victoria can provide you all the info you need in case you have doubts about them.

If you can not work on it, let's know and we will try to find another developer to help you with the implementation.

I'm not entirely certain that I understand the bug.

Long, long ago I suggested that the gallery and the camera should actually be the same app.  That approach was rejected.  We have two separate apps. We transition between them using activities.  The system app handles the transition between apps, so I'm changing the component to Gaia:System.

But the only way to change this would be to change the way all app-to-app transitions are done.  I suspect it is too late to fix this for 1.1.

I'm not the right person to work on this. Maybe timdream?
