Hi James, It could be great if you could work on this bug. UX people are very concerned about all these transitions issues and they are trying to push them for V1.1 release. Victoria can provide you all the info you need in case you have doubts about them. If you can not work on it, let's know and we will try to find another developer to help you with the implementation.
Updated link to the transitions specs since the one above is not working: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tsns9vgbgzuefx1/is0W_IeHkB Some folders were moved, sorry for that.
Also another good calendar starter bug.
It's an interesting feature for me. I would like to take the issue. It will also help me to know the layout architecture in Calendar app. Thanks for James' guidance. According to comment 2, there are three tasks of deeper transitions. Calendar month label p49 Calendar from 5 to 6 weeks p50 Calendar from 6 to 5 weeks p51 Will start to grep code and plan implementation.
Some days ago we were talking about simplifying the go deeper animation. Instead of moving the header and the body using different transitions, we should move it all together. I will work on a new demo today, so you could use it as reference. We already did the animation as originally designed in Contacts app, to go from the contacts list to contact details view, if you want to check it, but as I said this one will also need to be updated.
Done, you can see how this transition should be implemented: http://buildingfirefoxos.com/transitions/in-app-navigation.html find there, under the example, the values for the transition.
Triage: This bug has been added to the v1.2 backlog but is not blocking release
